painless.  non-invasive.  radiation-free.

Space Coast Thermography provides the most technologically advanced medical thermal imaging system available in Brevard County. Thermography can detect inflammation as temperature rises in areas with increased blood flow, and it can be used as a risk assessment tool to detect and monitor abnormal physiology in the body.

Our Mission:  To educate, lead and inspire our community toward optimal health by providing the highest quality radiation-free and non-invasive medical imaging services in a professional and supportive environment.

Thermography is not meant to replace other imaging technologies, but, rather to complement them and add information not available in those other diagnostic screening tools.

The Story Behind Space Coast Thermography

Dr. Kristen Barry grew up in Western New York near Lake Ontario, and after completing college she moved to California to complete her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology.  She completed an internship at the Children’s Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma and then relocated back to New York.

Dr. Barry worked as a Clinical Psychologist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, outpatient residential treatment center, private practice, and for the New York State Office of Disability for a total of 14 years before relocating with her family in 2010 to the Space Coast of Florida. Just a few short months after moving, she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer.  She found the cancer herself after three annual mammograms had failed to identify it due to her dense breast tissue.  Read More...

Foundation Grants

Although thermography isn’t covered by insurance, there is grant funding available for those that need financial assistance.  100% of Space Coast Thermography patients who have applied for grant funding for their breast screening have obtained some level of funding, receiving anywhere from $50 - $150.  UBCF.org/breast.screening
